The hole has appeared in Vicarage Road on Tuesday
A busy road in Watford has reopened after a hole opened up in the carriageway.
Hertfordshire County Council's contractor Ringway closed Vicarage Road between the ring road and Wiggenhall Road on Tuesday.
They have now finished repair work and the road has reopened in time for Watford FC's game against Aston Villa tomorrow.
