Tools were stolen after a van was broken into in Hunton Bridge.

A thief stole Mikkita power tools and hand tools after smashing the passenger window of a white Citroen Berlingo in Bridge Road on Monday, May 9.

Officers believe the van was broken into between 11pm and midnight.

A second van was broken into on Tuesday, May 10 in Hazelbury Avenue, Abbots Langley.

Nothing was stolen.

But police said a man was seen getting into the passenger side of the van, before searching it, and then getting into a silver Ford Focus.

Another man was seen driving that vehicle.

PCSO Colin Williams said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw the silver/grey Ford Focus in the Abbots Langley or Kings Langley area around the times stated to get in touch.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have recently been offered Mikkita tools for sale.

“You can contact me by calling the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
