A man was punched with a knuckle duster after another man forced himself into a house.
At around 9.45pm on May 12 a man knocked on the door of a house in Bateson Drive in Leavesden.
When a woman answered he forced his way into the property and punched a man several times using a knuckle duster.
He then got into a van and headed down Aerodrome Way towards the film studios.
The man is white, aged between 50 and 55, around 5ft 7in with short grey hair and stubble. He was wearing a blue bomber jacket and white trainers.
The victim suffered bruising to his torso and a small cut to his right eyebrow.
Police Constable Vanessa Gottmann said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw a white, silver or grey coloured van, possibly a VW Caddy, with a loud exhaust in the area to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
