A motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition after a hit-and-run.
The man in his late teens was riding a grey Yamaha MT 125 bike along Hartspring Lane when it was in collision with a car near to the Toby Carvery restaurant.
A white Vauxhall was seen driving away from the scene at around 9.20pm last night.
The car, which will have damage to its front, drove towards the Bushey/Oxhey area after the incident.
The motorcyclist was taken to Watford General Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Craig Butler via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference ISR 856 of May 23.
