A teenager from Watford has made it through to the semi-final of Britain's Got Talent.

Morgan Smith, a year 11 pupil at Rickmansworth School, will be one of the nine acts hoping to secure a place in the final tonight.

The 15-year-old first impressed the show's judges, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, with a rendition of Rather Go Blind by Etta James.

Chuffed with her performance, judge Alesha Dixon commented: "I love your voice. I thought that was brilliant. You have so much potential, you don't know how good you are yet."

The aspiring singer’s audition video has since gained one million views on Youtube.

Morgan found out on Sunday she was through to the semi-finals (below).

She will preform live tonight on ITV at 7.30pm. Two acts will go through to the final on Saturday.

The winner of the show, now in its 10th year, will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show and win a £250,000 prize.
