A family have been left devastated after their pet parrot, Suki, flew out of their front door and now they are asking for the help of the public.
Fatemah Ravji, 36, of Moorview, in Watford, and her family were just about to leave their home at around 7.30pm on Sunday June 19 when their African grey parrot flew out of the door.
The family are now asking the general public to keep an eye out for Suki.
Mrs Ravji said: “We are really absolutely devastated.
“She has never been outside before and we are trying to find her.
“Suki was very communicative and chatty. She would speak to us and she would approach anyone because she is such a friendly bird.
“My sons are really upset and we really miss her.”
The family have put posts on social media and they are putting posters around hoping someone will have found their family member.
Anyone with information should contact Mrs Ravji on 07882599936.
