A teenage robber pulled a younger boy off a mountain bike before stealing it.
The 13-year-old victim was riding along Garston Lane in Garston between 4.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday, June 18.
The robber, who is described as a boy, aged between 16 and 17 and of slim build, pulled the boy from the bike before taking it and riding off towards Garston Parade.
He was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and black Nike Air Max 95 trainers.
The bicycle is a white Focus mountain bike.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Jennifer Stoddart, who is investigating, said: “Thankfully the boy was not harmed during the robbery.
“I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident or anyone who has seen the bike, or may have been offered it for sale, to contact me via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101.
“Alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or submit information through its anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org”
