Roses, sweet peas and rhubarb crumble were among the different entries in the show at the Village Hall, The Green.

John Hopkins received two trophies – the Cottagers Challenge Cup and British National Carnation Society’s Bronze Medal. Eileen Foulgham and Peter Hurran won the F. Baldwin Cup and National Sweet Pea Society’s Medal respectively.
Pauline Williams, committee member at Chipperfield Horticultural Society, said: “Despite the truly challenging weather for gardeners over the growing period, there were many excellent exhibits in all sections of horticulture.
“Floral Art had really delightful arrangements, handicrafts displaying many skills were well represented, and our judge Mr. David Baldock was delighted with the large number of entries in the photography section.”
The next show is the Autumn Show on Saturday 17th September at 2:30pm in the Village Hall.
