Police have released CCTV images of two men after an attempted carjacking in Leavesden.
A man parked outside Costcutter in Haines Way on Sunday, May 22, and went inside the shop, leaving his friend in the passenger seat.
But two men got into his Fiat Punto and attempted to reverse it away.
The victim ran out of the shop after hearing shouting and he was punched as he tried to grab the keys from the ignition.
The man in his 40s and his friend managed to remove the keys. Both people who attempted to steal the car got out and ran off towards Sheepcoat Lane.
Officers would like to speak with the men pictured as they may have information about the attempted robbery.
