A motorcyclist was thrown from their bike in a crash in rush hour traffic.
The incident took place as the road entered the underpass on the northbound carriageway of the A412 Rickmansworth Road at around 6.15pm.
The carriageway was closed and motorists were diverted around the roundabout with the A411.

Police were called at 6.15pm by the ambulance service to St Albans Road, Watford, to reports a motorcyclist had come off their bike.
No other vehicles were involved.
The rider, a 40 year old man, was taken to hospital.
The black Honda motorbike needed to be recovered from the scene and this was complete at 7.50pm.
