A man was robbed at knifepoint on his way home.

Police are investigating the street robbery in St Albans Road, Watford.

At around 8.40pm on Friday, July 20 the 20-year-old victim was walking in a wooded area in the alley that runs between St Albans Road and Fern Way (below).

Three men approached with a knife and stole a watch and sunglasses.

The first offender is described as black, in his early 20s and around 6 foot tall.

He was of medium build with an afro style haircut with a high top with squared off edges, but messy in style.

He was wearing a red top with black and white and a number on the back.

He also wore dark trousers and white trainers.

The second male is described as being Asian, in his early 20s and around 5ft 9 inches tall and was of medium build.

He had a small moustache and was wearing a dark blue or black hoody with dark jeans and black low laced high top trainers.

This man was carrying the knife.

The third man had a tanned complexion and was possibly southern European, also in his early 20s but smaller than both the other men.

Police have just released details of the incident in the hope that a man with two children who rode through the wooded area at the time will come forward with details of the attack.
