As the impact of the Amatrice earthquake unfolds and the need for assistance becomes ever more apparent, Oakman Inns and Restaurants, which operates Kings Arms in Berkhamsted, The Beech House in St Albans, The Akeman in Tring and The Red Lion in Water End, has decided to raise funds to help the Italian relief effort.
The UK pub company has pledged to donate of all of their proceeds from pizzas and pasta dishes to the Italian Red Cross in order to provide some care for the victims and their families.
The price of every pizza or pasta dish sold between Tuesday, August 30 and Thursday, September 1 will go towards the Italian Red Cross to help provide relief.
