Thieves stole an elderly woman’s purse that contained a photo of her late husband.
A 77-year-old woman was approached by a man in Tesco, in Harefield Road. After talking to him she realised her purse had been stolen.
Police are looking for a man and woman in connection with the incident that happened on August 16, between 2pm and 3pm.
Sgt Neil Canning, from Rickmansworth Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This offence is particularly sad as the purse contained a photo of the late husband of the victim.
“This was of great sentimental value to her and has left her feeling extremely upset.
“We would like to speak to the man and the woman pictured as they may have information that could assist us with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
