A man has been charged with burglary following two break-ins in Rickmansworth.
Darryl Orvis, 29, of Pear Tree Avenue, West Drayton, was charged with burglary and burglary with intent to steal when he appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on August 29.
Police were called to Sherfield Avenue, Rickmansworth, on August 26 to reports of suspicious activity. Jewellery had been stolen from the house.
Earlier that day, a house in Colne Avenue was also targeted but nothing was taken.
Mr Orvis was remanded in custody and will appear at Harrow Crown Court on September 26.
