Thousands of people are expected to attend a festival in Croxley Green this weekend.

Croxfest is returning for its sixth year on September 3 and will have “more on offer than ever before”.

The free festival starts at 12pm and ten local artists will perform on The Green.

Stephen Crabtree, chairman of the organising committee, said: "We are really looking forward to putting on a fantastic festival with plenty of exciting bands to entertain the crowds.

"The hard work of the organising committee is central to the success of the festival as well as the support of all the bands, supporters, partners and volunteers that make this happen.

"We hope everyone is looking forward to coming along and enjoying the day with us."

The festival, that is supported by local companies and Croxley Green Parish Council, was awarded a grant from John Lewis Music Matters scheme earlier this year.

There will be stalls offering food and drinks and a bouncy castle for children to play on.
