A hit and run driver returned to the scene an hour after an accident.
Two cars were involved in the incident in Uxbridge Road yesterday afternoon.
Initially, one of the cars sped off after the crash outside Mill End Motor Company.
Police said the driver later returned.
No-one was injured and the road was reopened at 3.25pm.
