A 16-year-old was stabbed after a fight in Watford.
The man was stabbed in the leg after a large fight between a group of teenagers in Lower High Street yesterday.
The incident happened at around 6pm near to Watford High Street Station.
The victim is receiving hospital treatment to injuries that are serious, but not life threatening.
The group of around six individuals are described as being mostly in their mid to late teens and as white and mixed race.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Chris Parperi, from Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour in Watford and are working hard to identify those responsible for this incident.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time the incident took place and witnessed anything to please get in touch as soon as possible. Any information you provide could prove to be crucial to our investigation.”
