A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged after a teenager was stabbed in the leg.

The victim was stabbed after a fight in Lower High Street at around 6pm on Saturday.

Two other teenage boys, one aged 17 and from Rickmansworth and the other 18 and from South Oxhey, have also been arrested and are currently in police custody.

The victim, also a 16-year-old boy, has received hospital treatment for his injuries that are serious, but not life threatening.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and information about the group of around six individuals who are described as being mostly in their mid to late teens and as white and mixed race.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Chris Parperi, from Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “I am still appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything that might help our inquiry to please get in touch as soon as possible.”
