A dog owner was attacked as he walked his dog in Bushey.
A white Staffordshire Bull Terrier bit an American Cocker Spaniel on the head as they walked along Little Bushey Lane on Saturday.
During the attack, which took place between 12.30pm and 12.45pm, the owner of the injured dog also suffered injuries to his hand.
The man required treatment in hospital and his dog was taken to the vets where she received treatment.
It is believed the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is called Dexter and their owner was a girl in her mid to late teens.
