Filmed throughout November and December, episode one will be available on BBC Three on the evening of Thursday December 1 with the following episodes available every Thursday.

Narrated by former England striker and Match of the Day stalwart Gary Lineker, the series will delve into the day to day lives of the players, coaches and executives to explore the real heart of their football club.

Tony Pastor, executive producer of Goalhanger Films, said: “We've been given unprecedented access to the inner sanctum of the football club. Already we've been able to film in areas normally way off limits.

“I think it'll give football fans a real insight into the workings of a Premier League club."

BBC Three controller Damian Kavanagh added: “The series will bring a candid insight into what really goes on behind the scenes at football’s highest level, and give BBC Three fans an access all areas pass to a Premier League club.”
