Walter Mazzarri believes if his Watford side perform to the same level they did at West Brom last weekend, they will pick up three points against Everton tomorrow.

Despite eventually losing 3-1 at The Hawthorns, following Roberto Pereyra's 84th-minute red card, Mazzarri's side did look the more threatening for the mostpart, but failed to test Ben Foster in the Baggies' goal enough.

It was still a far cry from the Hornets' dismal 1-0 defeat from Stoke the previous weekend - albeit another game the head coach felt they deserved more from - and the Italian is confident that the Hornets would get more reward for a similar performance this time around.

He said: "In the last two games, we lost, but we shouldn’t have. Mainly the last one, we deserved to win - in the Premier League there are times where you have more or less luck which can win or lose you games.

"If we play like we played against West Brom, we will manage to win."

The Stoke defeat a fortnight ago was Watford's first at home since August, and Mazzarri believes there is no coincidence their form at Vicarage Road has been strong so far this season.

"Playing at home helps a lot, having the fans on our side, as it does for every home team," he said. "The fans always follow us and are always supporting us, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them, because they always follow us."

Mazzarri is not expecting the Toffees to roll over in the televised clash tomorrow, despite the fact their visitors have won only one league game since September 17.

"I think Everton are a strong team and at a similar level to Southampton when we met them," he said. "They have been having a good season until now.

"Although I think they can do better with the squad they have and players, they are still not far away from sixth place in the league, and it’s a team we will have to respect. It will not be an easy game."
