Following on from last week’s cold snap, conditions are staying well on the chilly side as we enter the weekend.
However this weekend is one to be cherished, as forecasters are predicting largely dry and bright weather for most of us, despite the brisk temperatures.

Friday will start off generally cloudy with some patches of mist remaining throughout what is to be a relatively pleasant morning and afternoon. Sunny spells are possible later on although it will feel cold, with temperatures struggling to push past the 5C mark.
Saturday will be mainly cloudy and could see scattered light showers, perhaps wintery at times. Overnight temperatures could drop to minus 2C.
Sunday is predicted to be the brightest day of the weekend although predicted of temperatures of 3C could leave us shivering in our boots. Expect overnight frost.
