A video shot by a drone camera shows the aftermath of one of the town's adventure playground being destroyed.
Harebreaks and Harwoods adventure playgrounds were closed last month after a High Court battle.

The footage shows a number of construction workers operating machinery to clear the site after the partial demolition.
Plans for a complete overhaul of the two sites – to the tune of around £1.4 million – have been proposed by Watford Borough Council to plug the leisure gap left by the removal of the Vicarage Road and Leggatts Way playgrounds, but the money set aside has already increased significantly from the £1.25 originally quoted.

Speaking on behalf of the council, Cllr Karen Collett, portfolio holder for community, said: “Our £1.4m investment in state-of-the-art play equipment for Watford’s adventurous playgrounds will mean that they can provide fun and exciting play opportunities for a broad age range for many years to come. They will be open all the time for children to enjoy.”
The council is aiming to open the new playgrounds by Spring 2017.
