A lorry overturned on the M25 after crashing with a car.
Emergency services were called to J17 A412 Maple Cross at around 6am this morning, to reports of a collision and a lorry on its side.
Drivers were delayed for more than an hour between J17 and J16, and there was congestion on the M25 to J21 M1.
The lorry crashed into the left-hand safety barrier and was hanging over the embankment.
The driver of the car escaped unhurt and the lorry driver was treated for a rib injury at the scene.
No lanes were closed but there was a 12-mile queue of traffic.
