Storm Doris arrived in Watford yesterday, bringing widespread destruction and causing chaos on the roads and rail network.
Fallen trees led to long tailbacks on Rickmansworth Road and St Albans Road during the evening rush hour.
Disruption to trains on the Bedford to London and Watford to St Albans lines also meant that many commuters faced long waits to get home after work.
