A Watford man will appear in court following a protest against a third runway at Heathrow Airport.
Daniel Keeler, 35, of Mutchett’s Yard has been charged with obstructing a tunnel or tunnel access road at the airport following an incident on February 21.
Keeler, along with 70-year-old Geneieve Scherer of Lambeth and Simon Bramwell, 44, of Stroud, will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday March 8.
On the day in question a car was used to block the tunnel leading to terminals 2 and 3, causing long delays on the approach roads around the airport.
Two other men were arrested at the time but have not been charged.
