New restaurants will be built in a Watford business park after plans were given the green light.

Set across two new buildings, the new amenity hub in Croxley Park will create a new waterside restaurant and café, floor space for meetings, conferences, gallery and events, as well as a gym, waterside terraces and outdoor areas.

The existing waterside setting will be improved with a new café and restaurant, outdoor decked seating areas and event space.

Croxley Park - formerly Croxley Green Business Park - recently announced ground breaking on the new 65,000 sq ft building, the largest speculative office development in Watford for 15 years.

Commercial real estate developer Bell Hammer has been appointed to evolve and deliver this new phase of the park’s expansion.

Among the major occupiers to move in is medical technology firm Smith and Nephew.

Others include Kodak, the technology company focused on imaging products, which moved 150 staff from Hemel Hempstead.

Among those to do so already are Howdens Joinery and salary-saving car scheme provider Tusker, which moved to the Park in August 2013 to support its expansion needs.
