Five people, including the attacker, were killed during the London terror attack after victims were hit by the vehicle speeding along the bridge at around 2.40pm on Wednesday.

The attacker then ploughed into Parliament’s gates before entering the grounds and stabbing a police officer who later died.

The assailant was then shot dead by police.

Watford Observer:

The 35-year-old man eyewitness from Watford - who asked not to be named - said: "I was there by Westminster with my sister and nephew.

"We were planning on going to see London Bridge and take photos there.

"We were crossing the bridge then this happened.

"The car passed and I could see bodies running, jumping and getting crushed.

"There were two ladies behind car and the first one lay on the floor bleeding.

"One guy was just screaming and screaming.

"Everyone I was with was ok, but many around us were injured.

"One person went down. Then they woke up and went down again.

"I ran straight towards it to see and I saw the bodies there before I was pushed back.

"There was chaos and everyone was extremely shocked."

In the distressing video clip following Masood's crash into the railings, people can be heard screaming 'no, no' as car horns blast.

The two bodies, who both appear to be men, lie nearly lifeless on the ground.

One man moves his arm gently as he lies bent over with pain on the pavement.

The other seems to be unconscious, having taken a great deal of the weight from the huge 4x4 vehicle.

Masood started his drive of terror on the south side of Westminster Bridge, ploughing pedestrians as he crossed over toward the Houses of Parliament.

He injured 29 people in total, and today seven of them are critically ill.
