Fire, ambulance and air ambulance crews worked together to rescue the casualty
Fire and ambulance crews were called out after a person fell 30 feet down into a valley in Watford.
Hertfordshire Fire Control received a report shortly after 1pm that a person had fallen into the dell – a small, wooded valley – near Vivian Close.
Crews from Watford were mobilised to the scene, using rope rescue equipment to save the stranded casualty once there.
The injured person was then taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
