Police investigating an attempted burglary and a theft from a car in Watford are appealing for information and witnesses.
The incident happened in Sheepcot Lane between 8pm on Tuesday, March 21 and 7.30am on Wednesday, March 22.
In that time, offenders approached a property and attempted to gain entry to the front door but were unsuccessful.
They then gained entry to the victim’s car, taking an iPhone charger, two CDs and a small quantity of cash before making off and leaving the front passenger door ajar.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between the times stated, or has any further information, is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C4/17/753.
