Dennis Wharton is dreaming of becoming a county councillor at the upcoming election and has been laying the groundwork of his campaign with some top-notch pothole spotting.
In his day job, Dennis is a teacher. But by night, he dons his edgy leather jacket and transforms into the superhero of our day and age - Watford’s number one pothole hunter. Or so he says.

Dennis claims to have got 50 of the unsightly and potentially dangerous obstacles fixed in 2016.
And unlike other caped crusaders, Dennis doesn’t play by his own rules to get things done.
He sticks rigidly to council protocol, logging potholes, taking detailed notes of their size, depth and location, and then following up on his reports until they are repaired.
