Young and old alike turned out in force yesterday to witness an iconic steam engine pass through Watford.
The Flying Scotsman was recorded by Samantha Honor passing Apsley station on its way to East Grinstead, Sussex, where it arrived at around 2am today.
It flew past platform nine at Watford Junction at around 6.13pm - a couple of minutes earlier than predicted.

The train, built in Doncaster, first came into service on the London and North Eastern railway in 1923.
It ran the first daily service from London to Edinburgh, completing the run in eight hours.
The train was recently given a £4.2 million refurbishment and is running a tour programme this year.
