A large office block will be redeveloped in Watford.
Coda Planning will demolish Clarendon House in Bridle Path to develop a mix use tower of 14, nine and four storeys incorporating 41 residential apartments and 1,800 sqm of office space.
The site is currently occupied by offices in a three storey building.
Watford Borough Council this week approved plans to build 16 one-bed flats along with 24 three-bed flats and one three-bed flat.
The project has been under discussion for over two years due to the many complex issues surrounding the development – in particular the Article Four Direction, which restricts use of the area around Clarendon Road for office use only.
A low level of ground floor car parking is proposed at the site for the use of the office development.
No parking will be provided for residents.
