The devastated family of a “very special” 20-year-old who has died have led tributes to him.

Jake Franklin-Beck, who went to West Herts College, died yesterday.

His sister Blondell said the family were heartbroken.

"My little bro, I love and miss you so so much words can't even explain", she wrote on Facebook.

"I wish this pain would go. I'm heartbroken.

"Only spoke to you Sunday and you was telling me to keep quiet not slip up, so you can surprise mum and dad with coming home and then go see the lads to and go and watch Anthony Joshua fight with them for your 21st.

"You will always be remembered by everyone, so kind hearted a lovely young man to be around always loved.

Friends and family members have left messages to remember Jake.

Tom Croughton wrote on Facebook: "I can't believe one of my brothers is gone, an absolute soldier, hard as nails, never a moment I've not been in stitches when I'm with him. RIP Jake Franklin-beck, love you brother."

Emma Schmidt added: "I don’t believe it. I really don’t.

"You have taught me to never hide your feelings, to never take anything for granted, and to never be mad at someone you care about over little things.

"Thankyou for sharing some lovely times with me, I’m so happy I got to share a friendship with you, and share many moments with you that I won’t ever ever forget."
