An up-and-coming musician who pays homage to Watford in his new music video Last Night, has had recognition by the MOBO Awards after they retweeted his video.

Charles Dixon, 26, from Kings Langley, created the track which he describes as “wavy” with music collective Rak-Su, four men also from Watford.

Different locations can be seen throughout the music video, including Bushey Station, South Oxhey and Watford High Street.

Charles, who went to Queen's School in Bushey, said: “I’m trying to get creators in Watford to come together. There’s so many people here doing creative things but we don’t really have a platform.

"I wanted to pay homage to wear I come from and using different iconic spots in Watford was a great way to do that and get everyone feeling involved.

“The MOBO Awards showed support for the video by retweeting it from my Twitter account.”

The track has been included in a playlist by Watford radio station Vibe 107.6. Charles will be releasing an EP later this year.

Last Night is available on iTunes and Spotify.
