Cats have gone missing under mysterious circumstances.

Odin, two, and Millie, four were both last seen about a week ago in Bushey near their homes.

Another cat Bella was taken from the same area roughly six weeks before.

The pets have not been seen since, and the owners are concerned that they have been abducted.

Some residents are worried that the disappearances may be linked to the M25 cat killer.

Odin was last seen by owner Sarah Lindsey, 54, on the evening of Tuesday, April 18 at about 11pm from her home in Ashfield Avenue.

Mrs Lindsey said: “I always do my best to bring him in at night, and he has only ever stayed out all night twice.

“I was concerned when he did not turn up the next morning I thought it was unusual and since Wednesday evening, I’ve been on the pavements looking for my little boy.

“I can’t imagine how scared he is. He had a hard start in life and does not deserve this to happen to him.”

Mrs Lindsey found Odin starving on the streets when he was a kitten and took him to the vets to help save his life.

Tabby Millie went missing from her home on adjoining street Mortimer Close on Wednesday, April 19.

Owner Lucey Madley, 34, said: “She doesn’t really roam far from home, she’s a bit of a scaredy cat which is what I find worrying.

“She is a pretty cat as far as tabby’s go, but she is not some crazy, rare, expensive breed, which is also concerning.

“Everything goes through your mind. It is a harrowing experience, and I would encourage anyone who may know something to get in touch.”

The South Norwood Animal and Rescue Liberation (SNARL) group was set up in 2014 to investigate the criminal maiming and killing cats.

SNARL founder Tony Jenkins said: “There is so much that is dangerous for cats in the world, the biggest threat is traffic.

“If the killer has struck their bodies and maimed and displayed outside their homes, so it is unlikely to be him, however, there are many dog fighting rings that operate in London.

“We advise cat owners to keep their pets indoors.”
