Anthony Joshua is reportedly on the hunt for a new home after pocketing £15 million with his win over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley last weekend.

The 27-year-old boxer grew up on the Meriden estate with his mum, but the owner of his local launderette said: "He was looking into buying a property. Wherever he goes, he will hopefully still use us.

"He is a joker - no his bill is nothing. He always jokes about it. It sometimes ranges from a fiver to a £100. He has no time so he sends in his family members. It's minimal. The tab is always open to him and his family members - they are lovely people."

We thought we would help him out by taking a look at the properties around Watford that might fit the bill, making sure they have plenty of space for a private gym of course…

Hempstead Road, Watford - £1,350,000

Watford Observer:

He has promised to stay humble, so we've started small with this five-bed, detached and gated property.

Bifolding doors link the family room and kitchen so there's plenty of space for a heavyweight like him.

One of the five large bedrooms could easily become his new workout spot.

Parrotts Close, Croxley Green - £1,700,000

Watford Observer:

We're stepping things up now with this large grade II listed property that dates back to circa 1640 and offers great versatile rooms giving many options.

Original solid oak front door with entrance lobby, with quarry tiled flooring and internal latch door leading to reception hall certainly sounds grand enough for a champ.

Home Farm Road, Rickmansworth - £1,750,000

Watford Observer:

After growing up in the Meriden perhaps Anthony will be after some green space. This six-bed chalet comes with a sizeable plot and lovely pond, with two ground floor bedrooms to do whatever he likes with.

Royal Connaught Park, Bushey - £2,200,000

Watford Observer:

Just next dooor, despite a hike in the price, this property in Bushey might seem a little more humble because it is an apartment.

It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and the complex offers a health and fitness centre, including gym, swimming pool and tennis court.

Copthorne Road, Croxley Green - £3,500,000

Watford Observer:

If Anthony changes his mind and decides to go for something more extravagant than this is the place for him.

The six-bed detached property comes with 0.8 acres and electric gates. The lower ground floor boasts a cinema room and gym.
