Over 150 performing arts students, aged between four and 16 years old are to take part in a celebratory performance at the O2 Arena in London.

It will take place on the June 25 to mark the 10th anniversary of performing arts academy, Lemon Jelly Arts.

Established in 2007, by Kelle Garner and Hayley Reynolds, it now teaches over 1,000 students at classes and clubs across Hertfordshire, London and Leicestershire in acting, dance, musical theatre and singing.

The show will see all age groups take to the stage performing dance, singing and acting pieces taken from a host of popular films.

Kelle says: “All of the students and so excited to be performing at the O2 and are working really hard in rehearsals. We are confident it will be fabulous show.”

Hayley and Kelle undertook 13 years of dance training in Leicester, before finishing their performing arts education at Italia Conti in London.

Their careers spanned radio, TV, theatre and film both in the UK and in America before setting up Lemon Jelly. They are supported by a teaching faculty who have all trained at the highest level and have had successful professional careers.

Lemon Jelly after school clubs take place at schools right across Hertfordshire and the London boroughs as well as evening academy classes for children aged six to 16 years in Mill Hill and Barnet.

Hayley explains: “When we set up Lemon Jelly in London 10 years ago, a key ambition was to give children the opportunity to have access to great training in a fun.

"We are delighted to be here 10 years later giving so many children from Hertfordshire, London and Leicestershire the chance to perform at such an iconic venue.”
