Young Watford FC fan Ossie Robinson has died at the age of 11 from cancer.

The youngster from Watford was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma – a rare childhood cancer of the nervous system – at the age of seven.

The talented footballer, who fell ill on a family holiday in 2013, died on Wednesday, May 4.

His family said in a statement: "Ossie died peacefully after a four year illness, which he fought with courage and determination.

"He was the much loved son of Lee and Karly, devoted brother to Taylar, Shae and Kortney, great grandson, grandson, nephew cousin and friend who was adored by everyone who met him.

"Watford legend forever."

Last year, family and friend raised £37,000 for the Ossie Boy’s Fund to get experimental treatment abroad.
