An oil painting by a famous Chorleywood artist is to be offered in a silent auction as part of the village’s annual Christian Aid Market.
Works by Sheila Macleod Robertson RSMA (Royal Society of Marine Artists) have been sold at Sotheby’s in New York. A reserve price of £200 has been set for this Scottish scene (pictured).
The event is being held on Friday, May 19 between 10 and 5pm, and on Saturday, May 20, from 10am to 1pm St John Fisher Church, Shire Lane, Chorleywood.
Also on offer, with all proceeds going to Christian Aid, are hanging baskets and bedding plants, cakes, books and bric-a-brac.
