A police officer is being investigated in relation to the death of a man killed on a night out in Watford.
Bradley Cresswell, 21, was punched and killed by Ridwaan Shaikh, 22, following a night out in Watford last year.
On Thursday, Shaikh was jailed for nine years for manslaughter.

However the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is now investigating Mr Cresswell’s contact with police on the night of his death.
Mr Cresswell was punched by Shaikh on two separate occasions that night. The IPCC says Mr Cresswell spoke with police officers after the first assault.
An IPCC spokesman said: “A notice of investigation has been served on one officer.
"Misconduct notices do not imply guilt but are to inform the officer that their behaviour and conduct is under investigation and the level of severity.
"The investigation had been suspended while parallel criminal proceedings took place, and will now be resumed."
