Following Monday’s terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, the Watford Colosseum have stated that no scheduled performances will be cancelled.

Some musicians, including Take That and Blondie, cancelled their shows this week “out of respect” to the victims at the Manchester Arena. Others, including Shawn Mendes and Celine Dion, will keep their European dates.

The Colosseum have said: “Our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragic incident at the Manchester Arena concert venue.

“As part of HQ Theatres’, Watford Colosseum has in place robust and continuously reviewed and rehearsed emergency procedures. Our staff are highly vigilant and fully trained to ensure the safety and comfort of all customers enjoying our buildings and services.

“As part of this process of continuous review HQ Theatres will update our venue guidance as appropriate based on current security advice from the UK Theatre industry experts and the Home Office.”
