A Brit Award winning British male vocal group is on the hunt for choirs to accompany them while they tour the UK.

Following from their Christmas BBC One appearance on David Walliams celebrates Dame Shirley Bassey, harmony trio BLAKE are coming to the Radlett Centre on June 10.

The new tour features songs from stage and screen, with projections and lighting that offer a cinematic feel. There will be music from Hanz Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Cohen, The Beach Boys and many more.

The tour follows appearances alongside Dame Shirley Bassey, with whom they released a Christmas single with in 2015. The single featured on their festive album A Classic Christmas in aid of children’s charities Variety and Noah’s Ark Hospice.

The members of Blake all found their love of music at a young age and sang with various groups and choirs throughout their childhood.

They were friends while at school and launched their first album in 2007, just six6 months after reuniting as friends on Facebook. The debut album went straight to number One in the UK Classical Album Chart and into the Top Twenty Pop Chart.

Their passion for music continues to grow and they wanted to share this with the communities they would be visiting on their tour and for this reason they are on the hunt for choirs to accompany them.

“We thought about how we could involve school choirs and local community choirs in our live shows, and that getting some of the choirs up on stage with us would be a great experience for both them and us,” says Oliver Baines, Tenor singer.

BLAKE have the accolades of several number one hits, multi-platinum selling albums and over 150 TV appearances, as well as having won a Brit Award for Album of the Year.

The trio tour constantly and take part in a vast amount of charity work, from performing for the Queen and Prince Harry at the Festival of Remembrance and the launch of the Walking With The Wounded South Pole Challenge, to working with the Sing to Beat Breast Cancer Choir.

Other charities they have supported include Help For Heroes, The British Legion and MIND. They have fans worldwide, which has sent them on tours to the Philippines, South Korea, Barbados, Russia, and even at the White House in the US.

Choirs who would like the chance to join Blake on stage should send a YouTube video link of themselves performing to info@BlakeOfficial.com accompanied by a short description of their group. One choir will be chosen for each concert to join the group on stage.
