Two properties in Watford have been closed following allegations of violence, drug use and anti-social behaviour.
The three month closure orders were granted by St Albans magistrates on Thursday, May 25, for addresses in Wilmington Close and St Albans House in The Parade.
The orders prevent anyone from entering the properties for three months, and anyone who breaches them can be arrested.
PC Nicola Simons, from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Police have received several calls relating to activity at these properties which has had a detrimental effect on people living in the area.
“We have worked to gather evidence and the court was satisfied that all the necessary criteria for a closure order had been met.
“I hope this sends a clear message that we will take whatever action we can to deal with allegations of anti-social behaviour and any associated criminality.”
Anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour or suspects drug crime is taking place in their area can report it via the non-emergency number 101.
