Training for a fun run has kicked off with a big launch.
The launch was held at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre on Saturday, June 17 for the Stewart Law Moor Park 10 and Junior Fun Runs.
The race will take place on Sunday, October 1 at Merchant Taylor’s School, Northwood.
This is the 16th year running for the event, and so far nearly £600,000 has been raised for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre (LJMC).
The centre provides support and information for patients at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood.
LJMC Marketing Manager Buzz Coster said: “We are really pleased to be working with Bushey Grove Leisure Centre to promote our flagship event. Their enthusiasm is infectious and a great asset on race day too.”
