A technology firm has gone up for sale after an ongoing dispute with Apple.

Kings Langley-based Imagination Technologies will sell up after its stock prices dropped from 268.75p to 84p when the tech giant announced it would stop using the company’s hardware.

The company, famed for making Pure Radios, confirmed it had been approached by a number of companies for a potential acquisition.

Apple said it would stop using the tech company's chip designs in "15 months to two years" however a dispute grew when the company questioned whether Apple would be able to develop its own computer chip designs without breaching its patents.

Last month Imagination announced it was in "dispute resolution" talks with Apple over licensing payments.
