A Rickmansworth-based IT firm made light of their rival’s recent voting faux pas on their new recruitment ads.

Hosted-IT released their newest recruitment ad on a drivable billboard, poking fun at their rivals Storm Technologies Ltd. over the news of a recent election blunder.

Earlier this month the Watford Observer revealed that John Brooker, MD of Storm Technologies, sent an email to staff threatening to sack any Labour voters, which he later claimed was “internal banter”.

The billboard from Hosted-IT read: “We’re hiring! Where your vote is your choice…” and drove out front of Storm Technologies’ offices.

Hosted-IT MD’s Dexter Gaul said: “The response has been very positive, we have been sent a few CVs with the first interview being tomorrow.”

He added: “We pride ourselves on both our customers and employees exercising their right to vote freely.

“Hosted-IT feels it is important to respect the democratic rights of all and if anyone working in the IT industry feels they or their customers are being unduly influenced or unappreciated, then they should get in touch as we would love to treat them correctly.”
