Two rugby stars told students to “live their dreams” during a visit to their school.

Kelly Brown, a former Scotland captain with 64 caps and Saracens first team player and Jim Hamilton, who represented Scotland 63 times and played second row at Saracens, visited Falconer School, in Falconer Road, Bushey, on Monday, June 19.

They were given a tour of the school and gave a motivational talk to students to help them “persevere and not give up”.

The pair will return in to the school later in the month to help establish a mentoring system between themselves and students to develop emotional resilience and aspirations.

Jonathan Kemp, head teacher at Falconer School, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for people who overcame their own difficulties and achieved their dreams, relate their experiences to the students at Falconer School.”
