A number of Hollywood actors will grace the streets of Sarratt this week as part of the filming of a blockbuster movie.

Kevin Spacey, Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams star in the All the Money in the World – a crime drama from Oscar-winning director Sir Ridley Scott, chronicling the early life and kidnapping of John Paul Getty III.

Filming will take place at two locations in the village on Sunday July 30 between the hours of 10am and 6pm: Biggerstaffs Garage in Dimmocks Lane and New Road/North Hill.

A letter sent out to village residents informs them of the impending road closures resulting from the large-scale operation.

To facilitate filming at Biggerstaffs Garage, Dimmock Lane will be closed between Sarratt Road and George V Way from around 6am until 2pm on the day.

While filming for a driving sequence takes place at New Road and North Hill, a road closure will be in place from 2pm until 6pm between Church End Cottages to North Hill Farm.

Access for residents will be maintained at all times.

The letter concludes: “We appreciate that it is a privilege to film in Sarratt and we thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation throughout our shoot.

“It has been a pleasure to get to meet many of you in the past few weeks and we look forward to meeting many more during our time in Sarratt.”
