A jackpot-winning lottery ticket bought in the area has gone unclaimed.

The ticket corresponds to the Lotto Millionaire Raffle drawn on Saturday, July 8 which was bought in Hertsmere.

The winning slip has the code NAVY 5575 1997 and the lucky person has up until January 4, 2018 to come forward with their ticket.

For every Lotto line purchased, players automatically receive a Lotto Millionaire Raffle code printed beneath on their ticket.

Anyone not holding the ticket but who believes it was theirs can come forward by writing a claim to Camelot within 30 days of the draw.

If the cash is not claimed before the deadline, then the prizemoney and all interest generated from it goes to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

More than £30 million is raised for these community projects by lottery players every week.

Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery Andy Carter said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
